I am really enjoying the convoy so far. However, you do need your rest at the end of the day after driving. It can be exhausting! As a new lorry driver on the convoy your concentrating on so many things; driving on the wrong side of the road, other drivers, and keeping in sync etc. Every lorry in the convoy has a position and we are position 2 behind the leaders - hopefully meaning we won't get lost. The progress we have made is very much down to the experience and skills of the other drivers, many who have been before, and leaders. You need to be constantly in touch on the radio and looking out for each other. It's amazing how important the radios are..!
We are now just about to stop off for a toilet break before the last stretch towards Poznan. Next task...finding a hotel for tonight.
